WEBPAGE OF THE MONTH

Round Lake Preserve (ROUND LAKE Menu)

You can walk all the trails in this small nature preserve in less than an hour. It has a viewing platform with a great view of Round Lake, where you may see interesting birds and waterfowl, including loons that nest or fish here in the warmer seasons. The web page tells you where to access the preserve and provides a downloadable map that you can print and take with you. The trails are open year-round, and during the winter you can hike or snowshoe this “winter wonderland.”
